Professional
Brow Design

I design eyebrows for a variety of clients and reasons.  Located in Seminole, FL and serving Tampa, St Petersburg and Clearwater ,  I can restore the beauty of your natural eyebrow that may have been lost by any one of the following reasons:
  • Over plucked
  • Shaved
  • Aging
  • Medical Conditions Resulting In Eyebrow Loss

Over-shaped eyebrows often result from plucking too many stray eyebrows. Plucking, tweezing, waxing can all lead to sparse and unnatural looking eyebrows which can take 3 to 6 months of growth cycle to match the natural thickness. This results in patchy looking eyebrows.

Similarly, as we age, our eyebrows thin just as the hair on our heads does. Likewise, our eyebrow muscles begin to sag and gravity pulls the eyebrow down over the eye.

Sometimes eyebrows loss can occur as result of a medication, medical condition or medical treatment such as chemotherapy. This loss often occurs in patchy spots throughout the eyebrows and affects the overall appearance.

Correctly shaped eyebrows frame the eyes and make the face shine. I have been assisting clients for over 24 years establish permanent natural eyebrows . Whether you are looking to thin your untamed eyebrows or achieve natural, fuller eybrows or beautiful eyebrows for that special occassion, I can get you the results you desire.

I have some clients stop doing their brows, while having them come in twice a month so that I can help them to re-establish a corrected brow (taking up to 3 months to correct.) Some techniques include wax, German dye, permanent cosmetics , scissors, perming and electrology for permanent brow styles. These regular short visits can last up to 6 months+ depending on the amount of growth and frequency of visits. I have a natural talent for designing eyebrows according to facial features, as well as extensive training in numerous makeup classes, permanent makeup training, and product classes.

    PERFORMING BROW MAKEOVERS:

    1. Establish her needs with the following:

What would you like to change about your brows?

How comfortable are you with creating your own brow look?

What products are you currently using to shape your brows?

     2. Address the following common brow concerns:

Bald spots; too thin; too bushy; too gray; too light

Not sure what the best shape for certain shaped eyes; wants to look younger; wants a higher-looking arch; can't find the right products for a natural look

    3. Address the common benefits of having great brows:

What would you say if I were to tell you that the brows create an expression for the entire face? What if I were to tell you that the right brow shape could really help to "lift" and open up the eye?

What other improvements would you like to see?

    4. Determine your customer's face shape:

The best method for determining a great brow shape, is to use the shape of your face as a guide.

    5. Select an ideal brow shape:

    FOR A SQUARE FACE

    Round Brow

Makes a face appear rounder and softens features.

    FOR AN OBLONG FACE

    Flat Brow

Horizontal lines make the face appear shorter and more oval. This shape also creates a very natural look.

    FOR A MORE YOUTHFUL LOOK

    Angled Brow

Great for anyone wanting a "lift".

    FOR MOST FACE SHAPES

    Soft Angled Brow

The peak is softer and more subtle and feminine than an angled brow. A very professional looking brow shape.

    6. Measure where the brow should begin and end, and find the arch:

To locate the inner brow edge, lay a pencil vertically along the center of each nostril. Where the pencil hits the brow is where the brow should begin. To locate the outer brow edge, lay the pencil vertically at the center of the nostril and let the top of the pencil slant out toward the outside corner of the eye. This point indicates where the brow should end.

The highest point of the arch should be directly over the outer edge of the iris.

    7. Choose from a combination of the following products for a perfectly groomed effect:

    Automatic Fine Brow Pencil:

Provides precise natural-looking fine-brow definition. Brush hair against natural growth so that the brow pencil is applied directly to the skin. For bare spots, feather in any open spaces with short, irregular-length strokes to simulate real hair. DEFINITIVE Brow Pencil - Easily blends to enhance the brows' form. Shape and fill in brows by drawing short, overlapping strokes. Feather and blend color with pencil's brush or Makeup Artistry Brow Brush. ONLY NATURAL Brow Powder - Softens the look of the brow and adds volume. Brush on over pencil for a well-blended look. Brow Sealer/Tinted Brow Sealer - Ideal as a grooming tool, especially on full brows. Brush on to set brows in place. Makeup Artistry Brow Brush - Helps brows appear more even and polished. Designed for applying powdered color to brows. Helps shape and fill in gaps.

    Makeup Artistry Brow/Lash Brush:

Blends color and softens the look of the finished brow. Use to shape and define brows.
